Retrieve Records - 3

NOTE:

Use the Edit (pencil) icon to Select values from the slushbucket for the sysparm_fields.

**_Copy the URL, not the word GET, and share it with your lab partner.

  1. System Web Services > REST > REST API Explorer.
  2. Click Explore. Note that this is a One-time click.
  3. From the left section of the form, make sure Retrieve records from a table (GET) is selected.
  4. Fill out the form as shown. tableName: Incident (incident) sysparm_query: State = New sysparm_fields*: number,state,short_description sysparm_limit: 10 (Limited to 10 results for testing)
  5. Send. A 200 OK status displays. If a status other than 200 displays, debug and retest.
  6. Examine the Response Body result
  7. Copy the link from the Retrieve records from a table field; it will be used for the

    Endpoint field in the Outbound REST Message form in the Consumer instance.
