Create an Outbound REST Message - 4

NOTE:

Make sure to replace {tableName} at the end of the link with incident.

  1. System Web Services > Outbound > REST Message.
  2. New.
  3. Fill out the form as shown.
    1. Name: REST Incident
    2. Accessible from: All application scopes
    3. Endpoint: << Retrieve records from a table link, provided by your partner from the Publisher instance;
    4. change {tableName} at the end of the link to incident >>
  4. Complete the following links in the Authentication tab:

    1. Authentication type:

      1. Basic o Basic auth profile: << Create a new Basic auth profile >> See steps below.

        a)Click the Basic auth profile field Lookup using list icon.

        b) New.

        c)Fill out the Basic Auth Configuration form as shown.

        1. Name: Third party
        2. Username: admin
        3. Password: << Password supplied by your instructor or lab partner >>
        4. Submit
  5. Save
  6. In the HTTP Methods Related List, select Default GET.
  7. Fill out the form as shown.

    2. Basic Basic Auth profile: Third party
  8. Save
